We believe everyone deserves the chance to succeed, so we’re helping more people access education with our huge range of scholarships.

Our scholarships don’t just reward your academic or sporting performance. We also recognise your volunteer work or your contributions to the community. And if you’re having financial difficulties or you’ve experienced a disadvantage, our scholarships offer a helping hand.

Some of our scholarships could help pay your HELP loan and costs of living. Others provide funding to help with your accommodation, uni start-up costs or other expenses. With less financial stress, you can focus on your studies and perform at your best.

Scholarships

From tuition fee reductions to cash grants, there’s a variety of scholarship options to give you the support you need to make the most of your studies at La Trobe University.

The TAP programs offers future undergraduates an opportunity to receive up to $5,000 in their first year of study to help with the costs associated to relocating closer to campus.

La Trobe's Regional Benefits Program empowers high achieving students from regional communities to live, study and thrive in regional Victoria with up to $5,000 paid annually.

La Trobe University is supporting students who have or will undertake an internship/work placement over Summer semester by offering the opportunity to apply for an Industry Placement Bursary.

La Trobe University recognises the important contribution that people from refugee and asylum seeker backgrounds make to the Australian community. The scholarships cover all undergraduate tuition costs and include a $7,000 annual cost-of-living bursary for the normal duration of the degree.

The La Trobe Agriculture Undergraduate Scholarship for Future Students is awarded to a high achieving student commencing in the Bachelor of Agriculture to the value of up to $5,000 in their first year of study.

La Trobe University values academic excellence. If you're thinking about applying for a 2022 full-fee paying place in an course eligible for this scholarship, your application will be assessed according to the eligibility criteria and you may be awarded a fee reduction for the duration of your course.
